infinite variety: three centuries of red and white quilts

I'm going to check out the Infinite Variety: Three Centuries of Red and White Quilts at the Armory this morning. The American Folk Art museum filled this enormous space with 650 quilts all in red and white. Of course I've waited till the absolute last minute to go - today is the last day of the show. I'll have my camera and post pictures tomorrow morning.

Well I made it up town on Thursday morning to catch the last day of the Infinite Variety: Three Centuries of Red and White Quilts show. And I have to say I was pleasantly blown away. Quilts are a beautiful labor of love and I appreciate the handwork and hours that go into a single one but I didn't know how that would translate for an entire show of 650 - all colored red and white.
