This morning I'm enjoying Stephen Powers larger than life Love Letters to Philly. The Philadephia Mural Arts program worked with Powers, a Philly native, along with other artists to paint derelict buildings on a stretch of Market Street. The project pays homage to legendary graffiti artist Cornbread who would leave love murals all over the city to his girlfriend circa 1960. Apparently this guy is quite a legend having once tagged the Jackson 5's private jet and a live elephant at the Philly zoo.
